Municipal fault reporting and resident tracking

HomeMunicipal fault reporting and resident tracking

Residents need a clear way to report a non-emergency service issue and check what happened next. MuniConnect connects a public submission form to a private staff workflow.

Capture the information a team can act on

Collect a service category, description, location, email address and consent. Optional image processing produces a bounded photograph for authorised staff. Residents should avoid adding identity documents, medical information or other unnecessary personal details.

Keep progress visible without exposing private records

A successful report provides a reference and private tracking token. The tracking response contains status, dates and an optional public update. Staff descriptions, internal notes and private contact details are not part of the public tracking response.

Give staff a workable queue

Authorised staff can assign requests, update status, set a target, record internal notes and mark duplicates. Mail notifications depend on a configured transport and scheduled jobs.

Plan the operational service

Agree who monitors submissions, when residents can expect a response and how urgent incidents are escalated. This workflow is not an emergency service or a replacement for emergency telephone numbers.
